Dogs We Train
Saving Duos is an owner assisted animal training program located in the Northwest Arkansas Area.
Service Dogs
Service Dogs are task trained to help mitigate a disability. Per the Americans with Disability Act, service animals have public access rights to most locations in the United States of America. At Saving Duos we offer training for many types of service animals such as:
- Medical alert (cardiac, migraine, narcolepsy, seizure, and more)
- Medical Response
- Diabetes Service Dogs
- Autism Assistance
- PTSD
- Mobility Service Dogs
Therapy Animals
Therapy animals are animals specially trained to calm and comfort the public. Therapy animals do not have any public access rights, but can be invited in by individual establishment for their work. The most common places you see you therapy animals are:
- Retirement homes
- Hospitals
- Schools
- Medical Establishments
Facility Dogs
Facility dogs are highly trained dogs that aid within a specific facility. Our facility dogs are specially trained to work with a facilitator in either a medical or educational work place. Facility dogs do not have public access rights, but are invited into work to help patients and students reach their goals. Our facility dogs work at places like therapy offices and schools.

We LOVE Saving Duos! Kristyn is so knowledgeable and helpful with everything we’ve needed in training our crazy puppy. She helped our puppy go from panicking in the crate after 2 minutes, to laying herself down in her crate for hour long naps in less than a month. I can’t recommend her enough!

Kristyn created Saving Duo Service Dogs with the utmost love for helping owners and their dogs become the greatest teams together. I had looked into service dog work and training for my dog but hadn’t heard of anyone in the NWA area who knew what they were doing. Kristyn has helped my dog Kai become confident in her abilities and with so much knowledge, identifies what exactly my dog needs to work on to succeed. The improvements I’ve seen in my dog have been exceptional and I truly don’t think I could have seen that without Kristyn’s aid. You have to be a special type of person to put so much time and effort and passion into training dogs. Kristyn taught my puppy and me so much in our first 6 week training session. She’s so knowledgeable and makes the training process simple and fun! She is so responsive and will always answer your questions via text in between trainings. Her training sessions are tailored to your specific wants/needs. Krystin is always so insightful and helpful when giving me advice! It’s very uplifting that she is excited to see the improvement in my dog when I use the advice she recommends. She has fast response times and never hesitated to explain things to me in a way I understand, even if I ask for clarification.
